When I was in my first year of college, I took a yoga class as an elective – easy A right? This is when I fell in love with the practice – all of these cool ways I could contort and bend my body. At the end of our class we had to pick one pose to teach the class, mine was Tittibhasana or firefly pose. I was so stoked that I could get into this difficult position and teaching it was an amazing experience.
Since that moment I have continued to practice yoga on and off. In the Spring of 2017 I was drawn to the Samadhi Center for Yoga, a beautiful local Denver studio, whose teachers are far beyond superb. My love deepened. 200 hours later I was a certified yoga teacher! A few months after that I took another 48 hour workshop to increase my knowledge of Yoga Nidra.
